Not too much to report these days in BME Land, but we haven’t posted in a while and thought we’d share what we’ve been up to as of late.

A Work of Art
We’re currently in talks to sign with Ouat Media, a short film acquisitions company based in Canada, and add A Work of Art to their impressive catalog of short films. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the deal is finalized and hopefully, by the end of the year, A Work of Art will be available for public viewing!

BODY BASICS
In December, we shot a workout DVD for fitness trainer, Jeffrey Bomberger, called Body Basics. It was a quick shoot and a lot of fun, despite the pouring rain. Thanks to everyone who worked on it. If you get a chance, check out Jeff’s Blog to read more about it. Expect the DVD out this spring!

DEATH STARRING COURTNEY
After spending a lengthy amount of time developing the opening scene with the intention of filming it as a short, we’ve decided that it would be wiser to apply that level of scrutiny to the rest of Tom’s screenplay and focus on having a final draft of the feature. We hope to have it completed by the end of January.

REVOLUCIÓN 721
This is probably the first time this project has been mentioned on the site, but it’s something that we’ve had in development for quite some time. In short, we’ve acquired the rights for a feature film based on the extraordinary true story of an tourist who was kidnapped and held for ransom in Tijuana. Sebastian is in the middle of writing the script after having (in the last two months) visited both Mexico and Denmark, researching the case and conducting interviews. This is a very exciting project and we will post more information as it develops. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
UNTITLED SHORT FILM
All this talk of things to come has left us itching to do something more immediate. So we’ve decided to start developing a short film that we can jump immediately into pre-production and hopefully shoot in January. We’re kicking around a few ideas, but once we have something locked down we’ll post more info. Stay tuned! …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
We gotta give a shout out to one of our favorite actors, Joe Gordon-Levitt, for his (not-so) new web project, “HitRecord.org” We suggest you join up and get involved, he’s setting up at Sundance to create and screen a completely collaborative film project that anyone can contribute to. Check it out!
The films have been released for DVXUser.com’s quarterly film festival.. this season was MonsterFest. Check out my favorite 3 from the festival below… if you like what you see, you should check out the rest at http://dvxfest.com/monsterfest
Here’s an exclusive look at the poster-art for Sebastian Stenhøj’s debut film To Live and Dine in L.A., starring David Hasselhoff. Click the image to visit the temporary website and check back for more updates!
To live and dine in L.A. It’s the place to be. At least for several troubled locals and garrulous German tourists whose lives, for one reason or another, intersect for a star-studded dining experience they will not soon forget. What begins a droning and less than promising evening quickly blossoms into Tinseltown bliss as the curious strangers find themselves dining with none other than The Hoff (David Hasselhoff). However, as he touches each of their lives with the manifold skills and insights of his most celebrated roles, they soon realize The Hoff has much more to offer than mere stardom.
