“The Wallet” Takes “Best Drama” at FirstGlance Philly!

Best Drama FGFFBME Films took home “Best Drama” in the Shorts 2 category this year at the FirstGlance Films Festival in Philadelphia, PA. The film screened to a packed house on Friday, Oct 14th at The Franklin Institute. Congrats to the cast and crew of The Wallet and thanks to all who came out to support independent filmmaking!

Tickets are now available for the FirstGlance Philadelphia Film Fest. The Wallet is screening on Friday, Oct 14th at 8pm at The Franklin Institute. If you’re in the area, please come out to support. Tickets are only $10.

BME Films is honored to be invited to screen The Wallet in Philadelphia as an Official Selection of the FirstGlance Film Fest. Named one of the “Best Film Festival Investments” by Movie Maker Magazine and “One of the Festivals for the Rest of Us” by Time Magazine, FirstGlance has become a leader in mid-sized film festivals. The festival will take place from October 13-16 at the Franklin Theater at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. LA Shorts Fests presents “The Wallet”

BME Films is honored to be invited to screen The Wallet at this years LA Shorts Fest as an Official Selection in competition. The winning shorts from this festival are granted eligibility to be considered for an Academy Award nomination. Also up for grabs is a $60,000 camera package from Panavision!

The festival runs from July 21-29 at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theaters in Hollywood. We will be screening on July 25th at 7:45 as part of Program 23. Tickets are available at the theater box office or can be purchased online at Laemmle’s website. For more information on Program 23, go HERE.

BME Films to be Showcased at the CHS Media Academy Homecoming Film Festival

On April 30th at 10am, the Cleveland High School Media Academy will host its annual showcase at the Laemmle Fallbrook 7 theater in West Hills. Dubbed this year as the “Homecoming Film Festival,” the festival will showcase the work of three former Media Academy graduates, along with this years batch of student filmmakers. Of the three alumni to be featured is BME’s Mike Manning. Tickets are $5 and the proceeds go right back into the department so that the students can keep making films.

“The Wallet” at NBFF 2011

BME Films is honored to be returning to the Newport Beach Film Festival this year with The Wallet, which has been selected by the festival as a 2011 Official Selection. The festival will be held from April 28th to May 5th. Stay tuned for the official announcement along with screening and ticket information.
